At the India Gadgetz Expo (IGE) 2016 in Bangalore, Intex has launched the company’s latest 4G VoLTE smartphone – Intex Aqua 5.5 VR & Intex Aqua Craze II in India at a price tag of Rs. 5,099 & Rs. 5,990 respectively. The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR comes in Champagne & Blue colours while the Intex Aqua Craze II comes in Dark Blue, Grey & Champagne colours. The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting from October 19th, 2016 while the Intex Aqua Craze II will be available through retail channels. For your information, Intex launched the Aqua S2 in India at a price tag of Rs. 4,990. The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR is the successor of Intex Aqua 5.5 HD that was launched last month for Rs. 5,637 while the Intex Aqua Craze II is the successor of Intex Aqua Craze that was launched earlier this year for Rs. 6,190. Both the smartphone comes with offers like two months of unlimited ad-free music download from Saavn Pro, and three months of premium movies and unlimited ad-free video on Viu. Intex is also offering Rs 100 Amazon India gift card along with the smartphones.

On the specifications front, the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR features 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by 1.2GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6737V/W processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and it has 8GB in-built memory which can be expandable further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the photography front, the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR features 5-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash for selfie & video-calling.
The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
The Intex Aqua 5.5 VR packs 2800mAh battery.
The company says the Aqua 5.5 VR comes with VR capabilities and is preloaded 3D content.

On the specifications front, the Intex Aqua Craze II features 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the photography front, the Intex Aqua Craze II features 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash, and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front-camera for selfie & video-calling.
The Intex Aqua Craze II has dual SIM support and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
The Intex Aqua Craze II packs a 2500mAh battery.
