Sony has launched the company’s latest 4K HDR TV in the BRAVIA Z9D series – Sony BRAVIA KD-65Z9D in India at a price tag of Rs. 5,04,900. It will be available for pre-booking starting from October 15th, 2016 and ends on October 31st, 2016 in all Sony Centres. It is also available on select Sony Centres and electronic stores in India from November.
The Sony BRAVIA KD-65Z9D comes with 4K HDR support and it features a newly developed 4K image processor – the 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme and a unique backlight technology- Backlight Master Drive, to attain extraordinary contrast and extremely accurate wide colour expression.
The Sony BRAVIA KD-65Z9D runs on Android TV 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Sony’s exclusive user interface and has in-built program guide & one TV Remote controlling both DTH/STB and BRAVIA.
The Sony BRAVIA KD-65Z9D has object-based HDR remaster, dual database processing, and Super Bit Mapping 4K HDR, the new 4K HDR ProcessorX1 Extreme provides the ultimate 4K HDR visual experience with 40% more real-time image processing compared to 4K Processor X1. All these technologies up-scales the standard dynamic range HD content to near 4K HDR quality by analyzing images in each scene and correcting colour and contrast of each object individually for varied sources like Internet video services, HDMI and USB port.
All the 4K HDR series are Netflix Recommended TVs, which means customers get the best experience for Netflix. This is attributed to the special features like direct Netflix button on the TV remote, quick app launch and easy navigation and switching between apps and inputs. There is Google Play connectivity too which provides direct access buttons for services on the remote itself. It’s also possible to do voice searches and inputs directly from the remote.
