Intex has launched the company’s latest entry-level smartphone in the Aqua series – Intex Aqua HD 5.5 in India at a price tag of Rs. 5,637. It comes in Champagne & Blue colours and listed on official website. There is no word on the availability of the smartphone. It comes pre-loaded with apps like Opera Mini, Saavn, LFTY, Matrabhasha and NewShunt. The company is also offering a screen guard and a protection cover along with the smartphone in the box. The smartphone comes with features like Emergency Rescue and Silent Key. The Emergency rescue feature is in line with the government directive to have a compulsory panic button on all mobile phones. At such a price tag, it will compete with Lava P7+, Karbonn Aura Power, Xolo Era 1X and few more.
On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580W processor which is paired with Mali-400MP GPU & 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the photography front, it features 5-megapixel rear-camera with dual-LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 3G connectivity, WLAN 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, A-GPS.
It packs 2800mAh battery which offers up to 8 hours of talk time & has standby time of 450 hours.
