Xiaomi has launched the company’s latest smartphone – Xiaomi Redmi 3S+ in India at a price tag of Rs. 9,499. It comes in Dark Grey, Silver & Gold colours and will be available across more than 7,500 retailers starting from today, October 1st, 2016. Xiaomi also announced that the smartphone will be available across large format retailers like Poorvika, Sangeetha, BIG C, and LOT mobiles via their distributors – Redington, Innocomm and Just Buy Live. The Xiaomi Redmi 3S+ is a new variant and it will be sold through offline channels.
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 processor which is paired with Adreno 505 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with MIUI on top of it and it has 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the photography front, it features 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, PDAF and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has Hybrid Dual SIM card slot and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS + GLONASS.
The XIaomi Redmi 3S+ has fingerprint sensor at the back and infrared sensor at the top.
It packs 4100mAh battery.
At such a price tag, the Xiaomi Redmi 3S+ compete with Coolpad Note 3 Plus, Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus and few others.
