Lenovo has launched the upgraded version of the Vibe K5 Plus smartphone at a price tag of Rs. 8,499. It comes in Platinum Silver, Champagne Gold & Graphite Gray colours and it will be available on Flipkart starting from August 3 midnight. The price of the smartphone remains same although the 2GB RAM variant available on Flipkart at a price tag of Rs. 7,999. The upgraded version of Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus has more cleaner UI and also offers stock Android experience. In addition to this, it comes with customizable launcher.
Commenting on the launch, Sudhin Mathur, Executive Director, Mobile Business Group, Lenovo, said:

On the specifications front, it features 5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 450 nits brightness. It is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 ( 4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor which is paired with Adreno 405 GPU & 3GB RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Lean Lenovo Pure UI on top of it and it has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the photography front, it features 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, Omnivision OV13850 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, 5P lenses, 1080p video recording and 5MP front-facing camera, f/2.8 aperture, 4P lenses.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS.
It packs 2750mAh removable battery.
Lenovo has also included stereo speakers at the back with support for Dolby ATMOS and support for Lenovo’s ‘TheaterMax’ technology & compatibility with ANTVR headset is also present.
