Xiaomi launched the Redmi 2A smartphone back in March and now the company launched the 2GB of RAM with 16GB in-built storage variant of the smartphone in China. The new Xiaomi Redmi 2A variant is available in White, Dark grey, Bright Yellow, Light Green and Pink colours and it costs Rs. 549 Yuan in China. There is n word on the global yet.
On the specifications front, it features 4.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core LCI L1860C processor which is paired with Mali T628 dual-core GPU and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with MIUI V6 on top of it & will get the stable MIUI 7 update in future. It comes in two variants, 1GB of RAM with 8GB in-built memory while the other variant 2GB RAM with 16GB in-buuilt memory, the in-built memory on both the smartphone can be expanded further up t0 32GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 8-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE connectivity, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
It packs 2200mAh battery.
