Earlier Spice teased the Android One Smartphone and now the company has launched the first Android One Smartphone – Spice Dream UNO Mi-498 in India at an initial price tag of Rs. 6,299. Last week it surfaced on Flipkart and available at a price tag of Rs. 6,999. It comes in Black & White colour and available exclusively through Flipkart. As a promotional offer, it comes with pre-selected eBooks worth Rs. 1,000 on Flipkart eBooks, Rs. 1,500 off on purchase through Myntra App, Flat 50% off on Spice Dream UNO flip covers and free Sandisk 8GB memory card.
On the specifications front, it features 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS screen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor which is paired with Mali 400 MP GPU. It has 1GB of RAM and 4GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it has 5-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and comes with connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0 and GPRS/EDGE.
It runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat and packs 1700mAh battery.
It comes with 35GB of Google Drive storage, Spice Cloud app with 10GB of storage and pre-loaded apps.
