After teasing the Android One Smartphone, finally Micromax has launched the company’s first Android One Smartphone – Micromax Canvas A1 at an initial price tag of Rs. 6,499. It comes in black & white colour and it is available exclusively through Amazon India. It comes with free data from Airtel for 6 months. Amazon also offers 10% cash back on State Bank Debit & Credit Cards transactions, Amazon.in Gift Cards worth up to Rs. 10,000 for 1,610 lucky customers and more.
On the specifications front, it features 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS screen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor which is paired with Mali 400 MP GPU. It has 1GB of RAM and 4GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it has 5-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and comes with connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0 and GPRS/EDGE.
