Sony has launched the company’s latest smartphone in the E-series – Sony Xperia E3 & Sony Xperia E3 Dual in India at an initial price tag of Rs. 11,990 & Rs. 12,990. At such a price-tag, the phone will compete with the new Moto G, Xiaomi Redmi 1S, Asus Zenfone 5, Zenfone 4.5 and the new Android One smartphones. Originally, both the smartphone unveiled at the IFA 2014 earlier this month. The Sony Xperia E3 Dual comes in white, black and lime colours while the Sony Xperia E3 comes in Black & White colours. Both the smartphones available from today.
On the specifications front, it features 4.5-inch FWVGA touch screen display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and it is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor which is paired with Adreno 305 GPU. It has 1GB of RAM and 4GB of in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it has 5-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash along with bunch of Sony’s own photo & video-editing apps and VGA front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
On the connectivity front, it offers Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, A-GPS, micro-USB, Bluetooth and support for ANT+.
It runs on Android 4.4. KitKat and packs 2330mAh battery which lasts up to 12 hours 20 minutes & offers 508 hours of standby time.
It comes pre-loaded with software like Smile Shutter, Battery STAMINA Mode, Shake to Start and more.
