Sony working on a new flagship Android smartphone and if rumors are true, then this handset could be Xperia Z3. According to @evleaks, the Sony Xperia Z3 will carry a model number D6653. The smartphone will feature a 5.15-inch Full HD display, powered by 2.4GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU, have 3GB of RAM, 16GB in-built memory, 20.7-megapixel rear-camera with Sony G Lens and 2.1MP front-facing camera. It ships with Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
When compared with Sony Xperia Z2, this isn’t the major upgrade that was launched earlier this year. There is no word on the battery capacity but it also features expansion slot & IP55/IP58 rating for dust and water resistance. It is expected that, Sony would unveil the smartphone during the IFA trade show in September.
