Looks like Samsung won’t take it long to put its next flagship smartphone back stage, a tip surfaced on twitter suggests that Samsung will hold an event in mid-march, which would entirely be dedicated to the Galaxy S5. An Italian journalist, Flavio, claims it on twitter, the Samsung Galaxy S5 flagship will launch in mid-March at an global event in London.

A mid-March Samsung Galaxy S5 even is very possible indeed, earlier this, Exec Lee Young Hee, executive vice-president of the company’s mobile business said the Galaxy S5 will arrive in March or April after Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. So the mid-march launch event falls in the range. She also added the S5 would likely pack a substantially different design and will with a brand new version of the Galaxy Gear smartwatch.
Samsung Galaxy S series is too popular to be launched at MWC, company has not launched any flagship device at MWC after the Galaxy S II. Also, Samsung would not like to share the news space with other products, so the alleged timeframe for Galaxy S5 launch makes sense. The Samsung Galaxy S4 got unveiled in March 2013 in New York.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is expected to feature a substantially different design, It may even have an eye-scanner for security to compete with the Apple’s iPhone fingerprint scanner. The handset is rumored to feature a metal body and 2K display with 4GB of RAM.
