Panasonic has launched the company’s latest smartphone in the P-series – Panasonic P71 in India at a starting price tag of Rs. 7,490. The smartphone comes in Ivory Gold and Dim Gray Black colours and the smartphone available through retail stores across India. The smartphone comes in two variant – 1GB RAM variant cost Rs. 7,490 while the 2GB RAM variant cost Rs. 8,190.
Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India, said:

Our research shows that there is a demand for affordable smartphones that offer the users a plethora of exciting features. With P71, we aim to deliver maximum experience to our customers with a phone packed with features. Our new smartphone is a VoLTE device with 2GB RAM & 2000 mAh battery, thus, providing a better solution to consumers who want long operational hours on a smartphone.”
On the specifications front, the Panasonic P71 features 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by 1.25 GHz quad-core processor which is paired wih 1GB/2GB RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further upto 32GB via microSD card.
On the photography front, the Panasonic P71 features 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
The Panasonic P71 measures 143x71x8.15mm, and weighs 138 grams.
It packs 2000mAh battery.
