Panasonic has launched the company’s latest flagship camera under LUMIX G DSLM series – Panasonic Lumix GH5 in India. The Panasonic Lumix GH5 body costs Rs. 1,43,990 while the DC-GH5 Kit with 12-60mm F2.8-4.0 cost Rs. 1,88,990 and it will be available across country. Originally, the Panasonic Lumix GH5 camera introduced at CES 2017 and by using this professional photographers & videographers can capture 6K photos. According to company, the Panasonic LUMIX GH5 is also the world’s first interchangeable lens mirrorless camera capable of shooting 4K videos.
The Panasonic LUMIX GH5 has a large LVF (Live View Finder) and features 3.2-inch free-angle rear-screen in 3:2 aspect with 1,602K-dot high-resolution. It also comes with Digital LIVE MOST Sensor increases the pixel count by 25% and powered by new image processor Venus Engine. The Panasonic LUMIX GH5 features 20.3-megapixel digital live MOS sensor without low-pass filter and it is powered by Venus Engine which offers great picture quality in resolution, color reproduction and noise reduction. In addition to this, the Venus Engine further empowers DFD (depth from defocus) technology, making it capable of ultra-high-speed digital signal processing at a maximum of 480 fps.
With Panasonic LUMIX GH5, users can shoot a 6K photo at 30fps and 4K photo at 60fps under three exclusive modes – 6K/4K Burst, 6K/4K Burst (Start/Stop) and 6K/4K Pre-burst. The users can also record smooth, high precision 4K 60p/50p video recording and 4:2:2 10-bit 4K 30p/25p internal video recording. For your information, the sensor comes with Focus Stacking function that enables to take multiple images of the same frame with different focus points. Users can flexibly choose the recording method from Relay Recording, Backup Recording or Allocation Recording.
The Panasonic LUMIX GH5 comes with connectivity features like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and offers more flexible shooting experience and instant image sharing with easy operation. The camera also comes with double SD Memory card slot, compatible with the high-speed, high-capacity UHS-II, the first time ever in a LUMIX digital camera. The Panasonic LUMIX GH5 comes with magnesium alloy along with diecast front/rear frame. This camera is splash/dust-proof and can withstand up to -10 degree Celsius.
