Panasonic has launched the company’s latest smartphone in the Eluga series – Eluga S Mini in India at a price tag Rs. 8,990. It comes in Frost White and Shadow Grey colours. Earlier Panasonic has launched the Eluga S last year and today a mini version is launched.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Manish Sharma, Managing Director, Panasonic India said:
“With the launch of the new smartphone, we are here to offer a new dimension to the Eluga S category; wherein the model has been targeted at the younger generation – the always-on-the-go college youth. Keeping in mind the affordability aspect, this device is perfect for consumers looking for innovation, design, superior build quality and advanced features.”
Sharing his thoughts on ELUGA S Mini, Mr. Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India said:
“Indian customers desire multiple options for whatever they start liking, we worked on the consumer demand and came up with a Mini version of ELUGA S, however upgraded with an innovative Frost-effect design”.
On the specifications front, it features 4.7-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by 1.4GHz True Octa-Core processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with FIT HOME UI on top of it and has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further by using microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 8-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling. It comes with BLINK PLAY feature, which lets you to capture selfies or group selfie by just blinking your eyes to capture the image on an automatic three-second countdown.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
It packs 1980mAh battery.
