Ahead of IFA 2014 event, Lenovo unveiled the Intel Atom-powered Android tablet – Lenovo TAB S8 in Berlin at an initial price tag of US $199 . It comes in Blue, Canary Yellow and White colours and there is no word on the availability.
On the specifications front, it features a 8-inch full HS display based on one-glass solution technology & has resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It is powered by a quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom (Z3745) processor which is paired with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and has 16GB in-built memory.
On the imaging front, it features 8-megapixel auto-focus rear-camera with LED flash, f/2.2 lens and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera.
It measures 209.8×123.8×7.9mm, and weighs 299 grams.
It has connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0
It packs non-removable 4290mAh Li-Ion battery which offers 7 hours of usage time and up to 400 hours of standby time.
It comes with dual front-facing speakers powered by Dolby Audio.
