At IFA 2014, Asus has announced the MeMO Pad 7 (ME572C) at a starting price tag of 199 Euros. It is available in Rose Champagne, Gentle Black and Burgundy Red colors and there is no word on the availability yet. If you do not know, it is the successor of MeMO Pad 7 ME176C that was announced at Computex 2014 in Taipei.
On the specifications front, it features 7-inch Full HD IPS multi-touch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 at a pixel density of 323 ppi and it is powered by a 1.86GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3560 processor which is paired with PowerVR G6430 GPU. It has2GB RAM and in-built storage of 16GB/32GB.
On the imaging front, it has 5-megapixel rear-camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
The other variant comes in 4G LTE ME572CL variant with Intel XMM 7160 LTE modem, has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat With ZenUI on top and packs 15Wh Li-polymer battery.
It comes with Asus SonicMaster Audio Technology and dual Stereo Speakers for enhanced audio output. In addition to this, it has Asus TruVivid and Splendid technology for enhanced clarity, brightness and accurate color reproduction of the screen. It has narrow bezel, making it a compact tablet.
