Lava has launched the company’s first Android One smartphone – Lava Pixel V1 in partnership with Google at a price tag of Rs. 11,349. It is the first smartphone in the Pixel series too and it comes in White with Silver & Gold colours. It will be available exclusively from Flipkart, starting today and at a same time is available on 4000 modern trade chains & over 32,000 multi-brand outlets across the country, which will be increased to about 1,00,000 gradually.

On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it has 73.6% screen to body ratio with minimal bezels. The display is protected by Asahi Dragontrail glass & has oleophobic coating. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor which is paired with Mali 400 MP2 GPU & 2GB of DDR3 RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further by using microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 8-megapixel rear-camera which can be interpolated to 13-megapixel, LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera which can be interpolated to 8-megapixel camera.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG.
It packs 2650mAh battery.
