Karbonn has launched the company’s first budget android smartphone running on Android 4.4 KitKat – The Karbonn Titanium S99 in India at an initial price tag of INR 5,990. It is available in Black & White color and comes with an additional Protective Silicon Case to protect it from falls and accidental bumps.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Shashin Devsare, Executive Director of Karbonn said,

On the specifications front, it features a 4.0-inch IPS capacitive touch screen display with resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and powered by 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor which is paired with 512MB RAM. It runs on latest version of Android, Android 4.4 KitKat and has 4GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it has 5-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and it can be used for clicking lively photos and there is a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera for video calling.
It packs 1400mAh battery that provides long backup. It has Dual SIM(GSM + CDMA) support along with usual connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS navigation, G-Sensor & Proximity. In addition to this, it has features like touch & customizable widgets and smart notification panel which provides an engaged KitKat experience to the consumers.
