Samsung-owned HARMAN International has launched JBL Free earbuds wireless in-ear headphones in India at a price tag of Rs. 9,999. The JBL Free earbuds come in black & white colours and they are available on HarmanAudio.in, various online & retail channels, and 360 key Samsung brand stores across the country. For your information, the JBL Free headphones fall into the truly-wireless category which means that there are no wires or connector between left and right earphones and both function independently. Originally, the JBL Free earbuds were showcased at IFA 2017 and they are designed to counter Apple AirPods, Jabra Elite 65t & Bose SoundSport.

The JBL Free earbuds feature 5.6mm drivers and have a frequency response between 10Hz & 22KHz. Additionally, the JBL Signature Sound technology claimed to provide an intuitive, intelligent sound experience. The JBL Free earbuds have an IPX5-certified design for resisting splashes of water & sweat.

The JBL Free earbuds have a built-in microphone for hands-free calling and you can take calls at the touch of a button. Apart from this, each earbud functions on its own to deliver audio and comes with three sets of ear-tips & two silicone sleeves for improved fit. Users can also interchange ear-tips and sleeves for nine different size combinations.

The JBL Free earbuds have Bluetooth connectivity with support for A2DP v1.3, AVRCP v1.6, HFP v1.6, and HSP v1.2.

The JBL Free earbuds come with a smart charging case that claims to deliver over 20 hours of power and the earbuds contain its own independent battery which lasts up to 4 hours. The smart charging case has fast charge technology that allows users to enjoy music playback for an hour by just charging it for 15 minutes.
