In the Box
In the box, you get a smartphone, a microUSB cable, regular wall charger, in-ear earphones, transparent back cover, plastic screen protector, user manual and warranty card.
Infinix Hot 7 Design
The Infinix Hot 7 adopts the design language that we already have seen on Infinix devices like Hot 6 and it is identical to Hot 7 Pro.
On the front, you see 6.2-inch HD+ display with a notch and it houses the dual front camera setup, speaker, sensors & front LED light. The phone is narrow and comfortable to use. The smartphone has a nice grip and slightly curved on the corners & edges.
On the back, you see a glossy polycarbonate back and reduces the number of times you’ve to wipe the device. Additionally, you see a vertically aligned dual-camera setup, and LED flashlight. There is a fingerprint sensor. The phone is comfortable to carry in one hand and offers a better grip in hand. The smartphone is available in three colors – Midnight Black, Aqua Blue, and Mocha Brown colors.
On the top, you see a 3.5mm headphone jack and there is no need to buy any connectors to listen to the music on the phone. On the bottom side, you find a USB 2.0 port, loudspeaker grill, and the microphone.
On the right side, there are power and volume buttons while on the left side there is a SIM tray. The buttons are easily reachable and offer a nice texture.
The Infinix Hot 7 measures 155.4 × 75.9 × 8.4 in height, width and thickness respectively.
Infinix Hot 7 Display
The Infinix Hot 7 comes with a large 6.2-inch HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1500 pixels and has a 19:9 aspect ratio that delivers a decent job. The viewing angles are really good and the display produces average colors. The display is protected by 2.5D glass and a bezel-less display with a notch is a beauty in the hands.
The images and text appear sharp even in bright sunlight and the “Eye-Care” mode filters out blue light. The Eye-Care mode can be scheduled to turn on automatically at sunset and off at the sunrise time.
Infinix Hot 7 Performance
The Infinix Hot 7 is an affordable phone but it does not feel underpowered at all. The smartphone runs on octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 chip that clocks at 2.39GHz and capable of handling daily tasks and offers smooth performance throughout the day. The gaming performance on the phone was decent and you can play most games without any trouble.
The smartphone is paired with 4GB of RAM and there is 64GB internal storage which can be expanded further up to 256GB via a dedicated microSD card.
Overall, the phone does the job for medium usage.
Infinix Hot 7 Interface and Functionality

The smartphone comes with built-in smart features like bike mode, and pre-installed apps like X themes, Xshare, and freezer. If you are coming from a stock Android or Android One phone then you will find that the Infinix Hot 7 contains bloatware. Also, scrolling around and switching between apps is a smooth process. Browsing the web, typing out text messages and chatting on social instant messengers on this large display is a pleasure. The smartphone comes with Touchpal as the default keyboard but you can change it to your favorite keyboard like Gboard.

The rear camera performs quite well in daylight and captures sharp images that look really good while in low light, the image quality is decent. The front camera does it job and lets you take a good selfie while the beauty mode will add an unnatural smoothening to your skin that will eventually hide any imperfections.
