At CES 2016, Huawei has announced the company’s latest tablet – Huawei Mediated M2 10.0 at starting price tag of US $399. The Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 with 16GB ROM/2GB RAM variant comes in silver colour while the 64GB ROM/3GB RAM variant comes in gold colour along with bundled active stylus. The base variant 16GB ROM/2GB RAM Wi-Fi variant costs US $349 while the 4G LTE variant costs US $399. The 64GB ROM/3GB RAM WiFi variant with stylus costs US $419 and the 4G variant with stylus is priced at $469.
On the specifications front, it features 10.1-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and it is powered by 2.0GHz Kirin 930 64-bit Octa-Core processor which is paired with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU & it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with emotion UI 3.1 on top of it. It comes in two variant, 2GB RAM with 16GB in-built memory while the other one is 3GB RAM with 32GB in-built memory, the in-built memory on both variant can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the imagining front, it features 13MP auto-focus rear-camera with LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has connectivity features like 4G LTE (optional), Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS / aGPS.
It packs 6660mAh battery.
It has aluminum alloy, full-metal body, curved edges and a rich, sandblasted finish. It is just 7.35mm thick, has four speakers with Intelligent Power Amplifier, Clari-fi Audio Restoration and SWS 2.0 Surround Sound, tuned by Harman/Kardon for enhanced audio performance. The high-end variant also comes with an active stylus. It also come in 4G variant.
