At CES 2016, Huawei unveiled two new smartwatches powered by Android Wear – Huawei Jewel and Huawei Elegant. The Huawei Elegant costs US $499 while the Huawei Jewel costs US $599 and available in US in first quarter of 2016. These smartwatches specifically designed for women and both the watches have similar specifications of Huawei Watch. Both the watches have premium look & sports gold cases & thinner bands. The Elegant features a top ring design on a rose-gold plated body while the Jewel features 68 Swarovski Zirconia encircling the face.
Both the watches features 1.4-inch circular AMOLED display with a resolution of 400 x 400 pixels at 286 ppi and it has scratch-proof sapphire crystal lens. There is a two-layer Sapphire crystal protection and 316L cold-forged stainless steel bodies. The smartwatches are powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which is paired with 512MB of RAM. it runs on Android Wear operating system and has 4GB eMMC memory.
It has 6-Axis motion sensor, barometer, heart rate monitor.
It packs 300mAh battery.
The Elegant and Jewel watches are larger than the when compared to original Huawei Watch, has a dial of 44mm as opposed to 42mm. The crown button is present the 2’o clock position. Both the watches come with a selection of exclusive watch faces.
