Earlier HTC announced the company’s latest smartphone – HTC Desire EYE in India at the Double Exposure event in Mumbai back in October. It is expected to go on sale in India on Amazon.in late November but it didn’t happen and now Mumbai-based retailer Manish Khatri said that it will be available from selected offline stores. The retailer confirms that the MRP of Desire EYE is Rs. 36,990 and still HTC has to reveal the price when it will go on sale on Amazon.in
On the specifications it features 5.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor which is paired with Adreno 330 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense 6.0 UI on top and has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 13MP rear-camera with dual LED flash, f/2.0, 28mm lens, 1080p HD recording and 13MP front-facing camera with dual LED flash, f/2.0, 22mm wide-angle lens for selfie & video-calling. The Desire EYE comes with dedicated two-step camera key for focus and capture for comfortable one-handed captures. It has HTC EYE Experience with Face Tracking, Screen Share, Split Capture, Face Fusion, Live Makeup, Auto Selfie, Voice Selfie, Photo Booth, Crop Me In.
It has dimensions of 151.7 x 73.8 x 8.5 mm and weighs 154 grams.
It has connectivity features 4G LTE/ 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 and 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX codec, NFC and GPS with GLONASS.

It has dual front-facing stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers, similar to other HTC smartphones and has water-resistant unibody design.
