HTC in an event in New Delhi, has launched their entry-level dual SIM smartphone – HTC Desire 616 in India at an initial price tag of INR 16,900. The MRP price is Rs 17,200 and it is available from next week in 2 colors – Dark Grey and Pearl White. The phone weighs 150 grams and is 9.2mm thin.
On the specifications front, the HTC Desire 616 features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels at 294 pixels per inch and it is powered by 1.4GHz MediaTek MT6592 Octa-Core processor which is paired with Mali 450MP4 GPU & 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5.5 UI on top and has 4GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features an 8-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash, 1,080p video recording and 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
It packs 2,000mAh removable battery and has connectivity features like dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0.
