BlackBerry has announced the company’s latest flagship smartphone – BlackBerry DTEK60 at a price tag of US $499. The smartphone available from BlackBerry online store in the U.S., Canada, U.K., France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands. It will also be available in other countries in coming weeks. The phone also includes BlackBerry’s suite of productivity apps, such as the Hub, Calendar, and keyboard.
On the specifications front, the BlackBerry DTEK60 smartphone features 5.5-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and it is powered by Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor which is paired with Adreno 530 GPU & 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and it has 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further via microSD card.

On the photography front, the BlackBerry DTE60 features 21MP rear-camera with dual-tone LED Flash, PDAF and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfie & video-calling.
It has connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C.
It packs 3000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and it offers up to 26 hours of talk-time & up to 17 hours of video playback.
The BlackBerry DTEK60 touted as the world’s most secure Android smartphone and it comes with an alert system which tells the user privacy is at risk or not. It comes pre-loaded with BlackBerry DTEK for Android app evaluates the privacy level of the smartphone and recommends users to tweak it as per requirement. The BlackBerry DTEK60 comes with Fingerprint sensor for added security and features a metal-frame and a dual-glass panel design.
