Videocon has launched the company’s latest smartphone – Videocon Ultra50 in India at a price tag of Rs. 8,990. It comes in Space Grey, Golden colour and it will be available across India starting from the first week of November, 2016. Videocon also offering 18 months warranty and 15-replacement warranty on this smartphone. It comes with 1-year free membership of ErosNow which gives you access to over 3,000 movies & music videos. The smartphone comes pre-loaded with Gameloft Games, Opera Mini, SwiftKey, Office suite, ChillX, PayPlutus, SBI Buddy, Daily Hunt, and ChillX.

On the specifications front, the Videocon Ultra50 features 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is protected by Asahi Dragontail Glass. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor which is paired by Mali-T720 GPU & 3GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and it has 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 64GB via microSD card.

On the photography front, the Videocon Ultra50 features 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
It packs 3000mAh battery which claims to offer up to 8 hours of talk time & 350 hours of standby time.
The Videocon Ultra50 has a curved bezel design with glass finish on both side and there is a fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button. The display is supported by MiraVision and it comes with the ‘SOS-Be Safe’ emergency response app which utilizes power button of the smartphone as the panic button to send an alert to the numbers added in the emergency list at the time of crisis. It also has the dual WhatsApp feature which allows users to use two different WhatsApp accounts simultaneously. The Videocon Ultra50 also supports gestures to perform various functions like drawing ‘O’ will start the flash light, ‘M’ will start playing music, and ‘C’ will launch the camera.
