MI India announced the company’s latest smartphone – Xiaomi Redmi Note in India at a price tag of Rs. 8,999 and it is exclusively available on Flipkart starting December 2nd. The registrations for the sale would begin tomorrow, November 25th at 6 P.M. It comes in White color.
Commenting on the launch Manu Jain, Operations Head of Mi India,said,
“We are very excited to be launching the much awaited Redmi Note in two flavours, which gives our fans the opportunity to choose the device best suited to their needs.”
Adding to it, Hugo Barra, Vice President of Xiaomi Global,said,

On the specifications it features 5.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is based on OGS technology. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and it has 178-degree wide viewing angle. It is powered by MediaTek MT6592 processor which is paired with Mali 450 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with MIUI v5 on top and has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it 13MP rear-camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1080p video recording and 5MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-recording.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
It packs 3100mAh battery.
