At the Xiaomi Redmi Note launched event in Gurgaon, the MI India has announced the company’s latest smartphone – Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G in India at a price tag of Rs. 9,999. It will be launching in India late December and it will go on sale through Flipkart & the company has partnered with Airtel to sell the smartphones through Airtel flagship stores across six cities in India. Registrations for the smartphone would begin soon on Airtel website and if customers are planning to buy smartphone, then they have to register online before visiting Airtel stores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G has support for FDD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and TDD-LTE 1800Mhz (Band 3) for India.

It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and it has 178-degree wide viewing angle. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor which is paired with Adreno 305 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI v5 on top and has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it 13MP rear-camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 1080p video recording and 5MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-recording.
