Xiaomi has launched the Mi 5 in india at a price tag of Rs. 24,999 in the month of March, 2016 in White colour. The sale starts from April 6th and now today the company has launched the Black colour variant. The black colour variant available through Mi.com, Flipkart and Amazon.in. Xiaomi also says that, the Mi 5 will be available in Gold colour soon.
On the specifications front, it features 5.15-inch Full HD display with 3D curved glass at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it has 95% NTSC colour gamut, 600 nits brightness. It is powered by 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit Quad-Core processor which is paired with Adreno 530 GPU & 3GB LPDDR4 RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 7 on top of it and it has 32GB in-built memory.
On the imaging front, it features 16-megapixel camera on the back with dual-tone LED flash, Sony IMX298 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, 4-axis OIS and a 4MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It also has dual SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band (MIMO), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C
