Xiaomi has launched the company’s first budget router – Xiaomi Mi Router 3C in India at a price tag of Rs. 1,199. The Mi Router 3C comes in White color and will go on sale starting from 23rd may, 2017 on Mi.com and later on the router available on Flipkart & Amazon.in starting from June 8th, 2017. Originally, the Xiaomi Mi Router 3C announced in China a few months back.
On the specifications front, the Xiaomi Mi Router 3C is powered by MediaTek MT628N processor which is paired with 64MB of RAM. The internal storage is 16MB. According to the company, you can connect up to 24 devices with the router at a time, and up to 44 IoT devices at a time. The Mi Router 3C supports the 802.11n Wi-Fi protocol at 2.4GHz single frequency and comes with dedicated PCB circuit, & there are 2 antennae for transmitting and 2 antennae for receiving. According to the company, the antennae ensure fast, optimized and more stable connection, even from long distances (80 meters). With support for IEEE 802.11n protocol, the router can offer maximum speeds of up to 300Mbps. The Mi Router 3C has two LAN ports and 1 WAN port, apart from a three-colour LED indicator.
The Xiaomi Mi Router 3C is easy to use and comes with smart functionality that lets you control it via Mi Wi-Fi app. The Mi Wi-Fi app available on Google Play Store and iTunes App Store. With Mi Wi-Fi app, you can monitor bandwidth usage and also utilize QoS to prioritize bandwidth. In addition to this, there is guest sharing feature by which you don’t have to share your password with other and has parental controls too.
The Mi Router 3C measures 195 x 107 x 25.3mm, with the antennae extending up to 178.90mm. It weighs 241 grams.
