Xiaomi India celebrated the 1 Crore Mi 4 phones sold worldwide in India and also announced that, the Xiaomi Mi4 (16GB) will be available for Rs. 14,999. Originally, when Xiaomi India launched the Mi4 in India it costs Rs. 19,999 and now the cost price is down to Rs. 5,000. Mi fans or users can purchase the Mi 4 from Flipkart or from Mi.com, starting tonight.
Hugo Barra, Vice President of Xiaomi Global is present to celebrate the milestone with fans & media in New Delhi and showcased myriad of creative ways to use the Mi4 and it includes controlling drones & remote control cars.
Xiaomi Mi4 launched in India back in January this year. It features a gorgeous design and precisely engineered stainless steel frame which give the phone its signature craftmanship.
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch IPS Full HD display with a pixel density of 441 PPI. The Mi4 also comes with all-new Sunlight Display, which you have seen in Xiaomi MI 4i. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor which clocks at 2.5GHz and it is paired with 3GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI V5.0 on top of it and has 16GB/64GB in-built memory.
On the imaging front, it features 13MP rear-camera and 8MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It packs 3080mAh battery and the battery is couples with Quick Charge 2.0 which allows Mi 4 to offer 1.5 days backup on a single charge.
