Samsung has officially announced the company’s latest tablet – Samsung Galaxy View. It comes in Black colour and there is no word on the pricing & availability. According to Samsung, the screen is optimised for media consumption & the tablet has been designed with a video-centric interface in mind. It has a dedicated home screen for videos showcases from various content services like Netflix, Hulu and YouTube all in one place. It also has powerful 4-watt stereo speakers and has nano SIM support which offers 4G LTE connectivity on the go.
On the specifications front, it features 18.4-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 119 PPI and it is powered by 1.6GHz Octa-Core EXYNOS 750 processor which is paired with Mali-T720 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and it has 32GB/64GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has single nano SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE (Cat. 6) / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.1 LE, A-GPS / GLONASS.
It packs 5,700mAh battery with up to 8hours of continuous video playback.
