E-commerce retailer Amazon India just announced that the camera-centric smartphone from Samsung – Samsung Galaxy K Zoom would be available for pre-order on its website starting July 2nd midnight. It is launched in India at an initial price of INR 29,999 and exclusively available through Amazon.in on July 9th, 2014 & the pre-orders will be shipped on the same date. Those who pre-order the smartphone today will get freebies worth of INR 6,000 from Amazon and it is available only to first 1,000 customers. Only first 1,000 qualifying customers will be eligible for the freebies and the freebies include free Samsung Pop out case, Sandisk 32GB microSD card, 6 free movie tickets, Rs 1,000 value off coupon on purchase of select handbags and Rs 1,000 value off coupon on purchase of select watches on Amazon.in.

Originally, it was announced in April and for your information the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom is the successor of Samsung’s Galaxy Camera 2. It features a 20.7-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 4.4-44mm lens with 10X optical zoom, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Xenon Flash at the back. A 2-megapixel camera on the front.

It features a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels and it is powered by a Hexa-core (1.3GHz quad-core and 1.7GHz dual-core) processor which is paired with 2GB of RAM. It has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 64GB via microSD card.
