Reliance Digital has launched the company’s latest smartphone in Wind series – Reliance Digital LYF Wind 4S in India at a price tag of Rs. 7,699. It comes in Black, Brown & Blue colour and will be available at Reliance Digital stores across the country. The smartphone is bundled with USB OTG adapter. It comes with VoLTE support and reliance Jio Welcome offer under which users get free & unlimited access to Jio’s suite of services, including voice, data & its bundled apps till December 31st, 2016. At such a price tag, it will compete with Coolpad Mega 2.5D, Moto E3 Power and more.
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor which is paired with Adreno 304 GPU & 2GB of RAM. it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and it has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the photography front, it features 8-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel VGA front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling. The camera comes with features include ISO, exposure, white balance, anti-banding, zero shutter lag, face detection, HDR mode, red-eye reduction, continuous shot, touch up mode, 6x digital zoom, and panorama shooting.
It has dual SIM support and connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
It packs 4000mAh battery which claims to offer up to 34 hours of talktime on 4G & standby time of up to 634 hours.
It supports various gesture-based functions like double click to wake, slide down to launch camera, and slide up to unlock. Above all, Reliance is also offering a one year manufacturer warranty and one year extended warranty on the handset. The extended warranty, has to be manually activated through the MyLyf app.
