In an event in Germany, Huawei has announced the company’s latest limited edition smartphone in the Mate series – Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 at a price tag of 1395 Euros. It comes in Graphite Black colour and will be available in European Porsche Design Stores starting in late December, 2016. The smartphone will also be available in January 2017 at Porsche Design Stores worldwide, and select Huawei retail stores in Asia, Middle East & Europe. The Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 limited edition smartphone is made in partnership with premium-lifestyle brand Porsche Design.
On the specifications front, the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 features 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED dual edge curved display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and it is protected by 2.5D curved glass. it is powered by an Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 960 processor which is paired with Mali G71 Octa-Core GPU & 6GB of RAM. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Emotion UI 5.0 on top of it and it has 256GB in-built memory which can be expanded further via microSD card.

On the photography front, the Porsche Design Huawei Mate 9 limited edition features second generation Leica dual-lens camera with 12-megapixel RGB sensor, 20-megapixel monochrome sensor, Hybrid Zoom, featuring 2x magnification, dual-tone LED flash, laser auto-focus, optical image stabilization (OIS) and uses Huawei’s own ISP. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
