Huawei has announced the company’s latest fitness watch – Huawei Fit at a price tag of 149 Euros (US $129.99). It comes in Titanium Gray and Moonlight Silver colors with Black, Blue or Orange straps in large and small sizes. It will first roll out in France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal and the United States. The Huawei Fit It is the same Honor S1 smartwatch that was announced in China last month.
On the specifications front, the Huawei Fit features 1.04-inch black & white always-on touch-screen LCD display with a resolution of 208 x 208 pixels with round-face design and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The display shows basic readings such as time, number of steps, calories burned and more. It has 256KB of RAM and 1MB in-built memory.

The Huawei Fit packs 80mAh battery and according to Huawei claims it is good enough to last for up to six days, and has standby time of 30 days.

The Huawei Fit comes with heart rate monitoring, automatic sleep counting, sleep tracking and capable of tracking activities such as walking, running, cycling, treadmill & swimming automatically, apart from counting steps, calories. it also provides comprehensive and customized running programs and offers real-time coaching; after a run the watch displays VO2 max, recovery time and a training score. This gives you an indication of cardio-respiratory fitness and a recovery time assessment.

Apart from its fitness tracking capabilities, Huawei Fit also offers notifications for calls, messages and reminders when connected to Android or iOS devices. It is compatible with Apple iPhones and Android smartphones running on KitKat 4.4 OS and above, and having more than 1.5GB of RAM. You’ll need Huawei Wear app to connect the fitness tracker with your smartphone.
Huawei also said that it is the first wearable device to achieve the TUV-WT reliability and accuracy certification. The fitness tracker is water resistant and rated at 5 ATM (atmospheric pressure), or 50 meters.
