Finally after number of leaks, the Pepsi Phone P1s goes official in China at a price tag of US $110. It comes in Blue, Gold and Silver colour and it is available through crowdfunding campaign on jd.com in China. The early bird offer is 499 Yuan (US $78) is sold out but you can still order it at 699 Yuan (US $110) and it is limited to 1000 orders. If this also sells out, there will be another 1000 units available at 999 Yuna and after that another 1000 units available for 1299 Yuan. This goes on and will stop when the funding ends. The Pepsi Phone P1S comes with a protective cover, USB cable and a charger and while ordering the phone you can choose the colour the phone. By December 3rd, the company aims to reach the goal of 3,000,000 Yuan.
On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch Full HD Curved Screen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is powered by 1.7GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor which is paired with Mali 450-MP4 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 operating system with dido OS 6.1 on top of it and it has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear-camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM card (secondary nano SIM card slot can be used as a microSD card slot) and connectivity features like 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.1 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
It packs 3000mAh battery.
It has aluminium unibody design and fingerprint sensor at the back. Pepsi is licensing its branding and Shenzhen Scooby Communication Equipment Co., Ltd will manufacture the phone. The standard version of the phone is called P1 and the China Unicom version with FDD-LTE support is called P1s.
