Asus has launched the company’s latest entry-level laptop – Asus R510JX in India at a price tag of Rs. 69,990. There is no word on the availability as of now.
Commenting on the launch Peter Chang, Regional Head of South Asia and Managing Director for Asus India said:
“Gaming is on the rise among the Indian consumers and with R510, even the entry level gaming enthusiasts will get an opportunity to test their skills on the high end games. It’s the perfect blend of hardware, performance and gaming with its black and red theme styled with FHD antiglare display. It is one of the most affordable products in the gaming category which makes it a must-buy for all the aficionados.”
On the specifications front, it features 15-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels at a aspect ratio of 16:9. It is powered by 4ht Generation 2.8GHz Intel Core i7 4720HQ Processor which is paired with Intel HD Graphics 44000 & 2GB NVIDIA GetForce GTX 950M Graphics. It has 4GB of RAM and SATA 1TB 5400 RPM hard-disk and runs on Windows 10 operating system.
It packs 4 cell Li-ion 44Wh battery and connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0. It has different ports like 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0, HDMI-out, VGA, RJ-45, audio combo jack.
The Nvidia graphic card is based on company’s latest Maxwell architecture that is claimed to deliver and includes NVIDIA Battery Boost Technology, NViDIA Optimus Technology, NViDIA GPU Boost 2.0, GeForce Experience and GameStream. According to company, the ASUS R510JX handle modern games & high-end multimedia content with ease resulting in a rich-gaming experience.
