Panasonic has announced the company’s latest rugged tablet Toughpad FZ-A2 at a starting price tag of 939 GBP. It will be available staring July 2016 and it is specifically launched targeting enterprise. It has ruggedised magnesium alloy body and its shock resistant, it can withstand drop from 120cm. It is also dust and water resistant with IP65 ratings. It has finless design, it is 16.4mm thick and weighs 880 grams.
On the specifications front, it features 10.1-inch WUXGA display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and it is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8550 Processor which is paired with Intel HD graphics 400 & 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with support for Android for work and it has 32GB in-built memory which can be expanded further via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 8MP rear-camera with LED flash and Full HD front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has connectivity features like 4G (Optional), WiFi 802.11ac (Dual-Band), Bluetooth v4.2, USB 3.0 Type A, USB 3.1 Type C OTG, HDMI and GPS.
It offers up to 9 hours battery life with user replaceable battery
