OPPO launched the company’s latest smartphone – OPPO F1 Plus smartphone at a price tag of Rs. 26,990. It comes in Gold & Rose Gold colour and will be available across India starting from mid-April. Originally, the smartphone announced earlier this year along with OPPO F1 smartphone. OPPO has also announced Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh as its First Sports Ambassador for this cricket season.
Commenting on the launch, Sky Li, OPPO Global VP, MD of International Mobile Business and President of OPPO India:
“Today, we are very excited to launch the second device of our photography-focused F series in India after our Selfie Expert F1, which created great market acceptance with demands pouring in from every corner of the country. Camera Phones are always our focus and we plan to bring out the best camera experiences to our consumers.”
On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it has 1.6mm ultra-narrow frame with 77.67% screen-to-body ration. It is powered by Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 processor which is paired with Mali T860 MP2 GPU & 4GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system with ColorOS 3.0 on top of it and has 64GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 13MP rear-camera with LED flash, 4K video-recording and 16MP front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
it has connectivity features like 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (dual-band), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
It packs 2650mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge that offer 2 hours of talk time with just 5 minutes for charge.
It also has a fingerprint sensor on the home button that can unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds, has a 6063 aluminium alloy body.
