OPPO has launched the company’s latest smartphone – OPPO A37 in India at a price tag of Rs. 11,990. It comes in Gold & Grey colour and will go on sale starting July 1st, 2016. Originally it was launched in China and already went on sale.
On the specifications front, it features 5-inch HD IPS 2.5D display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 293ppi and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by 1.2GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM 8916) processor which is paired Adreno A306 with 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with ColorOS 3.0 on top of it and it has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture, and full-HD (1080p) video recording capability. There is a 5-megapixel front camera with OmniBSI+ and screen flash features on board as well for selfie & video-calling. The company adds that the smartphone comes preloaded with the Beautify 4.0 technology which supports 7 different levels of intelligent beautification with two modes for different skin tones.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, USB-OTG, and Micro-USB.
It packs 2630mAh non-removable battery.
It measures 143.1x71x7.68mm and weighs 136 grams.
