OnePlus has announced the company’s latest flagship smartphone – OnePlus 2 at a VR event. it comes in sandstone black colour and it costs Rs. 22,999 ($329) for the 3GB of RAM with 16GB in-built memory and 4GB RAM with 64GB in-built memory costs Rs. 24,999 ($389). It will be available in US, UK, EU, India and China starting from August 11th and will rollout in Southeast Asia in Q4 of 2015. The 64GB variant will be available for purchase in India starting August 11th with an invite exclusively on Amazon.in and the 16GB OnePlus 2 with 3GB of RAM will be available later this year. OnePlus will also set up pop-up stores in nine of the most popular cities in the world and including New Delhi and Bangalore in India on July 31st so that people can know more about the smartphone. It has a removable back cover with optional style swap covers in Kevlar, bamboo, rosewood and black apricot.

On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by 64-bit Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor v2.1 which is paired with Adreno 430 GPU and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Oxygen OS on top of it. It has 3GB LPPDR4 RAM with 16GB in-built memory and 4GB DDR4 RAM with 64GB in-built memory.
On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear-camera with dual LED flash, Laser Auto-Focus, OIS and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support with 4G connectivity on both sims. Other connectivity features are WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4/5 GHz), WiFi Direct, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS, USB Type-C.
It packs 3300mAh battery.
It has aluminium alloy frame and fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button & capacitive buttons are completely customizable. It features an alert slider, a hardware toggle to switch between “no notifications, priority notifications and all notifications.”. It uses a reversible USB Type-C connector.
