Nokia’s two new and affordable Asha handsets – the Asha 502 Dual SIM and the Asha 503 are hitting the shops now. The two handsets comes with transparent outer layer on the back, giving the phones a unique style with colorful options. The handsets were announced at an event in Abu Dhabi a month ago. Both the phones run on latest version of the new Asha Platform.
The Nokia Asha 502 features a 3-inch screen, a 5MP camera with LED flash, Easy Swap Dual-SIM with 2G connectivity and micro SD card support (up to 32GB). The video recording is still at the abysmal QVGA@15fps, though. It comes with WhatsApp! messaging app.
The Asha 503 features 3.5G connectivity, a 3-inch screen, 5MP camera with LED flash, Corning Gorilla Glass 2, and comes in single SIM and Easy Swap Dual SIM variants.
Both the handsets offer Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, microSD card slots. They also feature social networking integration (Facebook, Twitter, Sina Weibo, LINE, WeChat) and Nokia’s data compressing Xpress Browser. Both the phones comes with a host of imaging apps such as Picfeed, Pictag and Phtofunia as free downloads from the Nokia Store.
