Nokia has introduced a classic-looking mobile phone with a premium design — Nokia 515. The Nokia 515 is said to offer high performance with unibody premium design. The main body is constructed from a single piece of anodised, sandblasted aluminium and the gently curved display is made out of polarized Gorilla Glass 2. The keymat is built from hardened polycarbonate resin.
The Nokia 515 sports a 2.4″ QVGA display. There’s a 5-megapixel camera on the back with an LED Flash. You can also take Panorama shots in 100-degrees of the scene around you. The camera also supports voice-activated self portraits that lets you take perfect pictures of yourself even though you can’t see the screen.
The Nokia 515 also supports 3.5G HSDPA connectivity and HD voice for clearer audio. There’s a microSD card slot with expandable upto 32 GB. The phone will be available in single-SIM as well as in Easy Swap dual-SIM option. The single-SIM model is capable of a standby battery life of up to 38 days.
The Nokia 515 will launch in black and white color options. The Nokia 515 will begin shipping globally in the third quarter of 2013 (expected in September), starting with Russia, Germany, Switzerland and Poland. The phone will be priced at around EUR 115/$149 before taxes and subsidies.
