Nikon India has launched the company’s latest Nikon FX-format full-frame mirrorless camera – Nikon Z7 and Nikon Z6, as well as three new NIKKOR Z lenses featuring a new larger-diameter mount, and the Mount Adapter FTZ at a starting price tag of Rs. 1,69,950. The three new NIKKOR Z lenses are the standard zoom NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S, the wide-angle prime NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.8 S, and the standard prime NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.8 S. Originally, it was introduced in the U.S. a few weeks back.

On the specifications front, the Nikon Z7 features 45.7-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor with 493-point autofocus system and has ISO range of 64 – 25,000. The Nikon Z7 is powered by Expeed 6 image processor and offers complete silent shooting mode. The Nikon Z7 has built-in 5 axis vibration reduction that means you can expect a stabilized photo and video shoots. It also comes with 9fps continuous shooting and lets you record 4K UHD videos. On the specifications front, the Nikon Z6 features 24.5-megapixel full-frame sensor with an ISO range of 100 – 51,200 and powered by new Expeed 6 image-processing engine. The camera lets you record 10-bit 4K video with Nikon’s N-log
The Nikon Z6 body-only cost Rs. 1,69,950 while the Nikon Z6 + NIKKOR Z 24-70mm F/4 S + Mount Adapter FTZ Kit cost Rs. 2,26,950, the Nikon Z6 with Nikkor Z 24-70mm F/4 S Kit cost Rs. 2,14,950, and the Nikon Z6 + Z6 Mount Adapter FTZ Kit cost Rs. 1,81,950. The Nikon Z6 will go on sale starting from November 2018.
The S-Line is a newly designated grade of NIKKOR Z lenses that adhere to a new benchmark in optical performance, creating new definitions of design principles and quality control. These lenses realize a rendering performance that surpasses that of conventional f/4 standard zoom lenses and f/1.8 wide-angle or standard prime lenses. From maximum aperture, clear and sharp resolution can be achieved as well as beautiful bokeh characteristics.
Additionally, the Mount Adapter FTZ has been designed to allow users of Nikon SLR cameras to utilize their existing NIKKOR F mount lenses with the Z mount system and enjoy taking advantage of an even wider variety of lens characteristics with their photography.
The standalone prices of the lenses and mount adapter are the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm F/4 S cost Rs. 78,450, the NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.8 S cost Rs. 66,950, the Mount Adapter FTZ cost Rs. 19,950, and the NIKKOR Z 50mm f/1.8 S cost Rs. 50,950.
