Motorola has announced that customers can buy Motorola smartphone from a wider range of offline & online retailers. Earlier Motorola smartphone available exclusively on Flipkart and now users have choice of buying smartphone from anywhere. For this, Motorola tie-up with distribution partner Brightstar India to sell its smartphone offline.
Mr. Amit Boni, General Manager, Motorola Mobility India, said:
“Responding to growing demand from our consumers we have made a strategic move of increasing the availability of our portfolio across offline and multiple online shopping platforms. To start off, we will be available at select stores for our consumers to experience and purchase the device. Consumers are at the heart of whatever we do and we will leave no stone unturned to enhance their buying experiences.”
With Flipkart, Motorola build a successful partnership and changed the way smartphones were sold in India. It helps Motorola to re-established strong presence for Motorola in Indian market. It is the first time, that consumers will buy Motorola smartphone from offline retail store.
Consumers who prefer walking into a store to buy their smartphones will be able to pick the Moto E 4G LTE off the shelf at select Airtel stores across the country. At the same time, continuing with the focus on our growing community of e-shoppers, Amazon India and Snapdeal will also start offering the Moto E 3G/4G LTE, September 25 onwards., as said in a press note.
