Xiaomi has released the MIUI 6 update for the Xiaomi Mi 3 and Mi 4 and it brings a lot of design changes, tweaks bug fixes and new features. In addition to this, it brings new notification center with toggles for music control panel, notifications for new messages, missed calls, reminders, app notices and more.
If you do not know, MIUI is a customized skin for Android that Xiaomi created and uses on their phone to provide an unique experience for their users. In addition to the MIUI 6 update, this update also fixes the security hole that user’s didn’t need to confirm the old password while setting a new password., Support AirPlay wireless speaker, new Ignore data usage option to make data statistics more accurate and some bug fixes.
The MIUI 6 update is available Over-the-air (OTA) for Mi 3 and Mi 4 and it is 417MB inn size. To install this OTA update, Developer’s ROM needed and you can download it from here. This is a developer version, so it might come with some bugs.
