Microsoft has launched the company’s latest affordable smartphone in the Lumia series – Microsoft Lumia 420 in India at a price tag of Rs 5,299. It comes in two colours – bright orange & black colours and it is available from. As a promotional offer it comes with 500MB of free data per month for a period of 2 months, Rs.1000 cashback offer from Mobikwik wallet and Rs. 1500 discounts from RedBus on bus ticket over 6 single trips booked through mobile app.

On the specifications front, it features 4-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and it is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS with Denim update on top of it, upgradeable to Windows 10 when update available and it has 8GB in-built memory which can be expanded further by using microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 2-megapixel rear-camera and a VGA front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support with connectivity features like 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, etc.
It packs 1500mAh battery.
