Micromax YU just launched the company’s first YU branded smartphone – Yu Yureka (AO5510) in India at a price tag of Rs. 8,999. It comes in Moonstone Grey colour and it will be available exclusively on Amazon.in. The registrations will start on December 19th at 2P.M. The best thing about Yu Yureka is that, it has unclockable boot loader and you get warranty even if the phone is rooted, which no other device maker provides. The company also release the kernel source code and offers free repair or replacement at doorstep. In addition to this, leather cover and tempered glass will be sold separately.

On the specifications front, it features 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it is powered by 64-bit Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor which is paired with Adreno 405 GPU & 2GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat with CyanogenMod OS 11 on top and has 16GB in-built memory which can be expanded further by using microSD card.
On the imaging front, it features 13-megapixel rear-camera with LEd flash and 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie & video-calling.
It has dual-SIM support and connectivity features like Cat4. LTE support, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
It packs 2500mAh battery.
