Micromax has launched the new flagship smartphone, the Canvas Kinght in India at an intial price of INR 19,999 and in this post we are comparing Micromax Canvas Knight with the Gionee Elife E7, flagship smartphone from Gionee.

The Micromax Canvas features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 441 ppi whereas the Gionee Elife E7 features a 5.5-inch screen with a Full HD resolution as well and has its pixel density of 401ppi due to bigger screen size.
Processor
The Micromax Canvas Knight powered by a MediaTek MT6592T 2GHz Octa-Core processor whereas the Gionee Elife E7 powered by 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor.
Operating System
Both devices runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and it is expected that both devices get the latest version of Android 4.4 KitKat as well.
Camera
The Micromax Canvas Knight as well as the Gionee Elife E7 has 16MP rear camera unit and an 8MP front-camera.
Storage
The Micromax Canvas Kinght has 2GB and has internal storage capacity of 32GB whereas the Gionee Elife E7 comes in two variants: one with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory & second one with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
Battery
The Micromax Canvas Knight packs 2,350 battery and it lasts up to 7.5 hours of talktime and 175 hours of standby time on 2G whereas the Gionee Elife E7 packs 2,500mAh battery.

The Micromax Canvas Knight is much cheaper than the Gionee Elife E7 and if pricing is the issue, then Micromax Canvas Knight is a preferable device. In terms of specifications, Gionee Elife E7 is much better and has bigger screen & bigger battery when compared with Micromax Canvas Knight.
